OATS UPMA [RECIPE]


                                                Hello everyone, myself  HRITHIK UPPALA. I am 18 year old boy with a lot of passionate about cooking. Here, I present the recipe of my favourite dish in veg called  OATS UPMA. It is my favourite because I know only this one dish in veg till now (probabaly funny,hehe). My mother taught me this dish. She is undoubtedly the best but I am the bestest! (caution: it's a joke). I hope you all love this dish while cooking and ofcourse while eating! So let's get into it! 




                                                                    INGREDIENTS
  • quick oats
  •  oil
  •  mustard seeds
  •  asafetida  
  •  urad dal
  •  ground nuts 
  •  neem leaves
  •  chillies
  •  ginger-garlic paste
  •  potatoes
  •  tomatoes
  •  onions
  •  turmeric powder 
  •  salt
  •  coconut
  •  milk
  •  water



                                                                     TIME TO PREPARE
     
  • Preparation :- 10 minutes 
  • Cooking      :- 15 minutes


PROCEDURE

For making a delicious OATS UPMA these are the following steps:

  • - Take a pan and raost 1 cup quick oats for few minutes and keep it aside.
  • - Take another pan and heat the oil for a minute.
  • - Add some Mustard seeds, Asafetida, Neem leaves, green chillies, coconut and saute it.
  • - Now, add some chopped onions and potatoes and saute them for some seconds.
  • - Then add some chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, salt and mix them well. Now increase         the heat     and deep fry the veggies for 3-4 minutes.
  • - After that add the roasted oats and mix well.
  • - Add 3 cups of water, 1tbsp milk, pinch of salt and let them cook for 3-5 minutes.      

          Now garnish with some chopped cashew nuts  
                                TADAAAA!!
